Donna Hooks Fletcher, who lived in Donna until her death in 1959. The Donna Hooks Fletcher Historical Museum features local Pioneer memorabilia from the 1800's.

It is built of rocks and petrified wood found in Starr County in the 1920's. It measures 30 X 90 feet. The statue of the virgin and the peasant girl, Bernadette Soubirds, costing $1000 a piece, came from Loomis Studio in Paris. Dedicated 1928.
