The Elroy Sparta trail is considered to be the "granddaddy of all trails" and is a 32 mile trail that winds it's way through spectacular natural beauty and exciting tunnels of the abandoned Chicago Northwest Railroad. During the spring and summer visitors enjoy the natural beauty that is Wisconsin while the fall brings "color seekers" out for a spectacular view of the beautiful foliage. Winter in Sparta includes exciting trails for snowmobiling, and cross country skiing, ice fishing, downhill skiing, and "tubing" are also popular winter activities in our area.
