We are located on Red Arrow Highway in St. Joseph, Michigan. Our hotel has a very unique architectural design that is based on a concept of Frank Lloyd Wright. His associate William Wesley Peter created the actual design. Some of the units have been preserved to the original Frank Lloyd Wright design concept with built in mahogany furniture. The lighting over the lofts illuminates the unique pitched, mahogany ceiling. The Snowflake Motel is in the perfect location. Lake Michigan's great fishing and beautiful beaches are just a few miles away. We are ideally located just off of major highways for fast access to local business centers and attractions. Our spacious rooms offer one King or two Double beds, a lighted ledge along one wall with a saw-tooth wood ceiling. Sliding glass doors open to a spacious courtyard for comfort and privacy. All of our units are on the ground floor with microwave, refrigerator, color Cable TV with free HBO/ESPN, iron and ironing board available upon request, onsite laundry facility, and free local calls. Smoking rooms are available upon request. We offer very affordable rates. If arriving after 8pm, please indicate on reservation. Please note that some websites do not add extra person charges to your confirmation so you may have additional charges at check-in. Reservations made thru internet may not be cancelled or changed by contacting the hotel. Cancellations and modifications must be made through booking source. Activities for include biking, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking on rivers and lakes, cross country skiing, snowboarding, and downhill skiing.
